At Little Bookshoppe, we do our best to describe every book honestly, photograph the actual item whenever possible, and pack each order with care.

Because many of our books are preloved, small signs of wear may be present. Please review the product photos, condition details, and listing description carefully before placing your order.

 

Returns and Refunds

We generally do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Wrong item selected by the customer

  • Duplicate purchases

  • Books with minor flaws that were already shown in the photos or mentioned in the listing

  • Preloved books with normal signs of age or wear that match the stated condition

All sales are considered final unless there is an issue with your order that qualifies under the concerns listed below.

 

Eligible Concerns

Please contact us if you received:

  • The wrong book or item

  • An item that was missing from your order

  • A book with major damage not disclosed in the listing

  • A parcel with damage that may have affected the books inside

To help us review your concern properly, please message us within 24–48 hours after receiving your parcel.

 

Unboxing Video Requirement

For concerns involving damaged, missing, incorrect, or incomplete orders, an uncut unboxing video is required.

Your video should clearly show:

  • The unopened parcel before opening

  • The shipping label

  • The full unboxing process from start to finish

  • All items received inside the parcel

  • Any visible damage, missing item, or incorrect item

Please make sure the video is clear, continuous, and unedited. We may be unable to review or approve a concern without an uncut unboxing video.

 

How We Review Concerns

Once we receive your message and supporting proof, we will review the concern as soon as possible.

Depending on the situation, we may offer one of the following:

  • A replacement item, when available

  • Store credit

  • A partial refund

  • A full refund

  • Another fair resolution based on the concern

Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

 

Important Notes

  • Please do not throw away the packaging, courier pouch, or damaged item until your concern has been reviewed.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by our error.

  • If an item was damaged during shipping, we may need photos or videos of the parcel packaging as part of the review.

  • Minor wear, yellowing, small creases, light shelf wear, or other condition details already disclosed in the listing are not considered defects.

  • We cannot guarantee that colors shown on screens will look exactly the same in person.
