Welcome to Little Bookshoppe. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, purchases, and communication with us.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Concerns Policy, Privacy Policy, and Book Condition Guide.
About Little Bookshoppe
Little Bookshoppe is an online bookstore based in Davao City, Philippines.
We offer preloved and brand-new books for babies, children, teens, parents, and grown-up readers. Our inventory may include one-of-a-kind preloved books, so availability can change quickly.
Product Information and Book Condition
We aim to describe every book as accurately as possible and provide clear product details, photos, and condition notes.
Many of our books are preloved. Small signs of age, shelf wear, yellowing, light creases, or minor imperfections may be present depending on the stated condition.

Availability and Inventory
All products are subject to availability.
Some preloved titles are available in only one copy. Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee that it will remain available until payment is completed and confirmed.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if an item becomes unavailable due to inventory error, duplicate purchase, damage discovered during final checking, or another issue that prevents us from fulfilling the order.
If this happens after payment, we will contact you and offer an appropriate resolution, such as a refund, store credit, or replacement option when available.
Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
We currently accept payments through QRPh-supported e-wallets and online banking apps.
Payment must be completed within the reservation period shown on the payment page or invoice. Orders that remain unpaid after the stated period may be cancelled automatically.
After payment, customers must submit proof of payment through the payment-confirmation form or the method instructed on the payment page.
Please allow up to 1 business day for payment confirmation.
An order is considered confirmed only after Little Bookshoppe has verified payment and sent an order-confirmation notice.
Prices and Promotions
All prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP).
Prices, promotions, discounts, and availability may change without prior notice. However, once an order has been confirmed, the confirmed price for that order will be honored unless there is an obvious pricing or listing error.
Promotions may have their own terms, dates, exclusions, usage limits, and availability restrictions.
Discount codes cannot usually be combined unless explicitly stated.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are packed and shipped within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation, subject to order volume, public holidays, weather conditions, and other reasonable operational delays.
We currently ship nationwide through J&T Express.
Delivery timelines after courier handover are estimates only and depend on the courier, delivery location, weather, holidays, and other factors outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address, mobile number, and email address. Little Bookshoppe is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned parcels, or lost parcels resulting from incomplete or incorrect details supplied by the customer.

Returns, Refunds, and Order Concerns
We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, duplicate purchases, or minor book flaws that were clearly shown in product photos or disclosed in the listing.
However, this does not limit a customer’s rights when an item is defective, materially different from its listing, incorrect, missing, or otherwise does not conform with the order.
For concerns involving damaged, missing, incorrect, or incomplete orders, please contact us within 24–48 hours of receiving your parcel or when parcel is marked as delivered and provide an uncut unboxing video, clear photos, and any other information needed for review.
Eligible concerns are reviewed case by case. Depending on the concern, we may offer a replacement, store credit, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution.

Customer Responsibilities

Abuse discount codes, promotions, or store credits

Attempt to interfere with the website, checkout process, or store operations

Use our content, product photos, illustrations, or branding without permission

Harass, threaten, or mistreat our team through any communication channel
We reserve the right to cancel orders, restrict access, or refuse future service where there is evidence of fraud, repeated unpaid orders, abusive behavior, or misuse of our policies.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including our logo, product photos, illustrations, graphics, branding, written content, and page designs, belongs to Little Bookshoppe or is used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services, including payment providers, courier services, social-media platforms, and Shopify.
We are not responsible for service interruptions, technical errors, delays, policies, or actions caused by third-party providers. Their own terms and policies may apply.
Privacy
We collect and use customer information only as needed to process orders, communicate about purchases, arrange shipping, provide support, and improve our store.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our store operations, policies, services, or applicable requirements.
